UCLA Wednesday Seminars
Supersymmetry at D0
H. C. Shankar, Tata Institute (Bombay), now UCLA
This talk describes the search for supersymmetry in the minimal
supergravity framework using the data collected by the D0 detector
at the Fermilab Tevatron pbarp collider. The data were examined for
events containing at least two electrons, at least two jets and
substantial missing transverse energy. No excess of events above
the expected yield from the standard model processes was observed.
The interpretation of this null result in the context of minimal
supergravity models has lead to 95% CL lower bounds on the mass of
the gluino for the case of heavy squarks and, equal squark and gluino
masses.
