The template track finder implemented in cmsim10x consists of two basic
parts: hit preselector (steered by tfmake) and track finder/fit
(steered by tfapply). The preselecting part is simplified: for each
mc track it prepares a single 'template' which in the simplest case is
just a list of all detectors hit by this track. The track finder/fit is
based on a 3D Kalman filter and uses GEANE as a track/error propagator
which makes it completely geometry independent.
The template track finder is selected with RECO 'TRAK' set to 2 or 12. For
option 2 it tries to reconstruct all 'good' tracks (charged particles with
); option 12 means reconstruction of one track (having mc number
1). The list of considered and reconstructed tracks can be printed out
with DBUG 'TRAK' 1
