I guess my main comment is that I think that one of the big advantages of the H2 test beam compared to the GIF (especially since we don't plan to use the magnet) is that H2 offers a silicon telescope. So: 1. when we request time, we should say clearly that we want the telescope to be working during our assigned time, and 2. we should consider putting P2 somewhere other than in the usual P0 place if it means the telescope can be brought closer. With P0, the telescope was upstream of the magnet, and the chamber was downstream, and the separation was about 5 meters. If we could make that 50 cm, we could have much better precision at the chamber from the telescope data (say 20 um instead of 100 um), which would be really nice! Of course, if there is someone taking data with a chamber in the magnet, they may not want us to move the telescope downstream of the magnet (and the SiBT also is easier to analyze when the magnet is off), so this may be a constraint on the scheduling. I also heard a rumour that there might be a second telescope this year in the downstream muon zone. Could we consider running there? I guess you have to get more details from Gyorgy (or I can try to, if you wish); I just wanted to raise the issue! Lisa
